Chili Shoot Out - Kepotah Sportsman Club

DESCRIPTION

TEMPERATURES ARE WARMING ON THURSDAY!!

This is the annual Cosmopolitan Club winter tradition that everyone is talking about...  

This event includes:

1. Chili Contest
2. Trap Shooting Contest 
3. Poker and Dice
4. Special 50/50 Raffle

SCHEDULE

The shooting starts at 5:00PM, and the chili will be served at 6:30PM.  No shooting or gambling is necessary if that is not your thing.  Instead, you can simply attend and enjoy the comradery.

COST

This is a great new member event!  Bring a guest to enjoy the chili, hot dogs, snacks, deserts, adult beverages, games, and more!  There is no cost for prospective members to attend.  Current member pricing is as follows to help us cover our costs to hold this event:

• Members:  $30
• Prospective Members: no charge if this is the first event attended as a prospective member.
• Guests (those not interested in joining):  $30
• Shotgun Ammo: $10.00 per box cash (or bring your own).
• Birds: $5.50 per round (cash).

Trapshooting is available for those who are interested.  Bring your own shotgun, or borrow a member's shotgun.

Have a Good Chili Recipe?  We need some good chefs to whip up a batch of chili and to enter the annual chili contest for this event.  We have awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!  $100/$75/$50 gift cards at a retail store TBA. Sign Up

This is a fun-filled event that we all enjoy!  However, safety is essential. See Notice.PDF for information about gun handling.

If you have a drink, then you are DONE shooting for the evening.

Durand, IL  61024 

Take Highway 251 north to Rockton Road.  Go West on Rockton Road, which will turn into Shirland Road as you leave Rockton heading towards Shirland.  About ONE MILE out of Shirland, the road will take a 90 degree turn, north (right).  Go approximately 100 YARDS to Winslow Road on the LEFT.  Turn left and the Kepotah Club will be on the right side approximately 100 yards on the right.
